    Isopropylamine is used as a solvent and used in rubber synthesis, pharmaceuticals, dyes, insecticides, bactericides, textiles, and surfactants. It is highly flammable, severely irritating to eyes and mucous membranes, and toxic when ingested or through skin contact, causing somnolence, dyspnea, hair loss, body temperature decrease and gastro-intestinal disturbances. In high concentrations it is a narcotic and has been known to cause sensitization in some cases.
